Synopsis:
Kawan is inspired by the folktale, The Four Harmonious Friends. Kawan tellsthe stories about how the four different animals, namely Peacock, Monkey, Rabbit and Elephant have migrated to the forest of Temasek in search of better lives. They will be re-telling their tragic stories of how they were all forced to migrate due to problems ranging from Global warming to Abusive Circus treatment, and how they have heard much about the forest in Temasek-- it has low crime rate and free from natural disaster. The only thing they have to figure out now is — howare they going to work together harmoniously with one another given the fact that they all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of living their lives?
