Synopsis:
Metamorphosis is an in-school performance that discusses / talks about the anxiety in coping with changes to new a environment and relationships. It follows the life of a student who is about to go into a new school. This means that the student will have to start making new friends, meet new teachers and cope with a new environment. This makes the student feel anxious and stressed. Amid it all, the student meets a magical cat who talks to the student about the need to adapt to changes, especially in a fast-paced society. The creature will bring the student to travel through time, from which, the student will learn about the changes of different landmarks in Singapore, and how that has contributed to the success of Singapore's economy. Through this journey, the student will learn that it is okay to struggle through changes, just like how a caterpillar struggles through the whole process of metamorphosis to transform into a beautiful butterfly.
